Skin Game
Ok, I can really kick myself over this book, I have had it on my shelf for over 4 months and kept pushing it back. I just have two words for this book FREAKING AWESOME!!! If you have been like me and are pushing it back get to it quicker and if you’re a PNR reader and don’t have this one on your list please add it to try. There is a lot of wonderful reviews on this book already so I’m just going to highlight what I liked. I didn’t find anything I could dislike. There is intense action, violence, a hot car, hot romance and down right good old fighting for your life at times. I will say this is a very suspenseful PRN, so if you’re really into romantic suspense I think you’d enjoy this, its not overly heavy in the paranormal. I love how the author takes you into the world of Kyra, her ability and Kyra as a con woman. I haven’t ran across any books where there was a Con woman, but Kyra is really good at what she does and how she uses her ability to go even further in her con. Excellent idea you don’t read everyday.
I loved Reyes as a matter a fact where can I find one like him? LOL. Reyes is good a his job, he always takes out his mark. Until he falls for Kyra. Now he will stop at nothing to keep her safe and happy even if its let her go.
These two are more alike than they think. I loved how the more you read the more their relationship in romance grows. The author really takes you into the hero and heroin characters into some depth and their twisted past lives. It makes more of an interesting read when you can get to know the characters more.
