I saw this baking book in the market. While skimming through it I noticed all of the wonderful looking pictures of the baked goods, so I just had to try it. I wish I didn’t even pick it up.
A few recipes aren’t clear on how to prepare the butter, so you have to guess if the recipe calls for melted or softened butter. A lot of the loaf recipes calls for 3 sticks of butter and 8 eggs. I don’t know about you but I don’t care for using this much butter now days and I’m a lazy when it comes to cutting the recipe in half, I just won’t do it unless it’s something I really want LOL. You also have to watch some of the recipes because they don’t seem to fit the pan the recipe calls for, something else that drives me nuts. I get a 9 x13 pan ready but I notice that the recipe is too short to cover it so I have to go to the 8x8 and these are just a few of the problems UGH.. I don’t think so, nope this book will not be finding a home on my shelf.
